Design and Evaluation
This project used the ADDIE method to develop an instructional design model, addressing an instructional problem in a college-level Visual Effects course. The instructional problem was as follows:
Online digital filmmaking students struggle to use 3D tools in Adobe After Effects.
Evaluation began by identifying the intended target audience, determining the ideal learning outcome, and creating a detailed project overview with primary theoretical framework for the client.

Upon completion of the initial design documents I developed a storyboard and script for a project demonstration video for the 3D week of the course. After making all necessary edits and adjustments to the script, I recorded the voiceover narration and video walkthrough. The video demonstrates the required steps for successful completion of the project, as well as vital information and vocabulary regarding visual effects and Adobe After Effects.
Once all elements were completed, I edited the video using Adobe Premiere Pro. Watch the completed Visual Effects Project Demonstration Video below.
